Nomenclatural History
The species Cyclobacterium marinus was originally described and validly published by Raj and Maloy 1990. Euzéby corrected this name from (sic) to . Hahnke et al. published an emended description of this species in 2016. Raj and Maloy formed this name in 1990 by placing the species (Raj 1976) Borrall and Larkin 1978 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Raj and Maloy 1990 emend. García-López et al. 2019.
