Nomenclatural History
The species Tsukamurella sunchonensis was originally described by Seong et al. 2003. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 123 in 2008. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Teng et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Nam et al. 2004 emend. Teng et al. 2016 in 2016.
