Nomenclatural History
|
The species Gluconobacter uchimurae was originally described by Tanasupawat et al. 2011. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 144 in 2012. Li et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Gluconobacter oxydans (Henneberg 1897) De Ley 1961 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Hördt et al. 2020
in 2017.
