Nomenclatural History
The species Algibacter pectinivorans was originally described and validly published by Park et al. 2013. García-López et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. Park et al. formed this name in 2013 by placing the species Yi et al. 2011 emend. Park et al. 2013 into the genus Nedashkovskaya et al. 2004 emend. Shakeela et al. 2015.
