Nomenclatural History
The species Actinokineospora spheciospongiae was originally described and validly published by Kämpfer et al. 2015. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Teo et al. in 2021. Teo et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Aouiche et al. 2015 in 2021.
