The species Actinokineospora mzabensis was originally described by Aouiche et al. 2015. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 163 in 2015. Teo et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Kämpfer et al. 2015 emend. Teo et al. 2021 in 2021.
