Nomenclatural History
The species Agrobacterium nepotum was originally described by Mousavi et al. 2015. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 172 in 2016. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Mousavi et al. formed this name in 2015 by placing the species Puławska et al. 2012 into the genus Frank 1889 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Young et al. 2001.
