Nomenclatural History
The species Saccharomonospora internatus was originally described by Greiner-Mai et al. 1987. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Greiner-Mai et al. formed this name in 1987 by placing the species Agre et al. 1974 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Nonomura and Ohara 1971 (Approved Lists 1980). Nouioui et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Schuurmans et al. 1956) Nonomura and Ohara 1971 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Teo et al. 2021 in 2018.
