Nomenclatural History
The species Micropolyspora internatus was originally described by Agre et al. 1974. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. In 1987, Greiner-Mai et al. established as the basonym of (Agre et al. 1974) Greiner-Mai et al. 1987 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 . Teo et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Schuurmans et al. 1956) Nonomura and Ohara 1971 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Teo et al. 2021 in 2021.
