Nomenclatural History
The species Photorhabdus khanii was originally described and validly published by Machado et al. 2018. Machado et al. published an emended description of this species in 2019. Machado et al. elevated the subspecies Tailliez et al. 2010 to the rank of species to form this name in 2018. In 2019, Machado et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Tailliez et al. 2010) Machado et al. 2019 .
