Nomenclatural History
The species Pararhodobacter marinus was originally described and validly published by Zhang et al. 2019. Zhang et al. replaced this illegitimate name with Zhang et al. 2020 in 2020.

Pararhodobacter marinus Zhang et al. 2019 is illegitimate based on Rule 51b(4) because it is a later homonym of Pararhodobacter marinus Lai et al. 2019. A corrigendum to the article is expected to be published.
