The species Acetivibrio saccincola was originally described and validly published by Tindall 2019. Tindall formed this name in 2019 by placing the species Koeck et al. 2016 into the genus Patel et al. 1980 emend. Tindall 2019. This name replaces the name (Koeck et al. 2016) Zhang et al. 2018 .
