Nomenclatural History
The species Alkalihalobacillus rhizosphaerae was originally described and validly published by Patel and Gupta 2020. Patel and Gupta formed this name in 2020 by placing the species Madhaiyan et al. 2013 into the genus Patel and Gupta 2020 emend. Joshi et al. 2021. In 2021, Joshi et al. established as the basonym of (Madhaiyan et al. 2013) Joshi et al. 2022 .
