Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Streptomyces hygroscopicus sporocinereus was originally described by Komaki et al. 2022. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 207 in 2022. In 2022, Komaki et al. reduced Gause et al. 1986 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 to the rank of subspecies.
