Nomenclatural History	The species Streptomyces ochraceiscleroticus was originally described by Pridham 1970. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Garrity et al. established Streptomyces ochraceiscleroticus as a later homotypic synonym of Chainia ochracea Kuznetsov 1962 (Approved Lists 1980) in 2007.
