Nomenclatural History	The species Chainia ochracea was originally described by Kuznetsov 1962. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Garrity et al. established Chainia ochracea as an earlier homotypic synonym of Streptomyces ochraceiscleroticus Pridham 1970 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 pro synon. Chainia ochracea Kuznetsov 1962 (Approved Lists 1980) in 2007.
