Nomenclatural History
|
The species Kitasatospora setae was originally described by Ōmura et al. 1982. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 11 in 1983. Zhang et al. corrected this name from Kitasatosporia setae (sic) to Kitasatospora setae . Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. In 1992, Wellington et al. established Kitasatospora setae as the basonym of
Streptomyces setae (Ōmura et al. 1983) Wellington et al. 1992
