Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Faenia was originally proposed and validly published by Kurup and Agre 1983. Korn-Wendisch et al. transferred the members of this genus into
Saccharopolyspora Lacey and Goodfellow 1975 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Korn-Wendisch et al. 1989
in 1989.
