Nomenclatural History
The species Bartonella elizabethae was originally described and validly published by Brenner et al. 1993. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Brenner et al. formed this name in 1993 by placing the species Daly et al. 1993 into the genus Strong et al. 1915 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Birtles et al. 1995. Dahmani et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of corrig. Dahmani et al. 2019 in 2018.
