Nomenclatural History	The subspecies Cutibacterium acnes elongatum was originally described and validly published by Dekio et al. 2019. Dekio et al. formed this name in 2019 by placing the subspecies Propionibacterium acnes elongatum Dekio et al. 2015 into the species Cutibacterium acnes (Dekio et al. 2015) Scholz and Kilian 2016 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018.
