Nomenclatural History
The species Saccharothrix coeruleoviolacea was originally described by Kroppenstedt et al. 1990. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 36 in 1991. Kroppenstedt et al. formed this name in 1990 by placing the species Preobrazhenskaya et al. 1987 into the genus Labeda et al. 1984 emend. Labeda and Lechevalier 1989. In 2006, Labeda and Kroppenstedt established as the basonym of (Preobrazhenskaya et al. 1987) Labeda and Kroppenstedt 2006 . In 2006, Labeda and Kroppenstedt established as the basonym of (Preobrazhenskaya et al. 1987) Labeda et al. 2008 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 .
